Raptor - The future of the structural pavement evaluation

The Raptor is Ramboll’s newest product. Ramboll acquired the entire Raptor project from Dynatest in 2020.
Instead of just getting spot checks which is the normal situation when using the FWD for bearing capacity measurement, the Raptor provides a continuous stream of data describing the structural condition of pavements. The advantage of continuous data as opposed to measurements taken in discrete points is that the entire length of pavement is scanned thus weak spots and discontinuities can be detected.
Raptor can measure 150-400 kilometers per day making it feasible to scan an entire highway network in weeks. Raptor can also be used at project level.
Raptor measures at normal traffic speeds without the need for traffic management, making the operation safer. The vehicle is sufficiently small and maneuverable that it can be used even in cities.

RMT

Laser RST

:
The road survey system Laser RST, measures and scanning all necessary surface parameters including road surface damage parameters, in normal traffic speed. Laser RST vehicles have since the 80s provided the foundation for targeting safe and cost-effective road maintenance planning to road administrations around the globe.

RIMS & RamApp

RIMS is a web-based tool for managing infrastructure assets. Data is always the key to knowledge – the only way to really optimize assets is to have a place that both visualizes your assets, tell you how they're doing, and allows you to track actions and budget. RIMS is optimized for road data for use by road users, contractors and consultants. RIMS connects well to RST's services and products, but also has compatibility for external data sources and IoT solutions. In connection with RamApp, the user can get both office and field functions.

IRIS – real-time operational data

Now cars can tell you how the road is doing – in real time. New technology in passenger cars reads the condition of the road surface and assets during the journey so that measures in summer and winter can be planned in a timely manner and maintenance that otherwise risks being done too late can be avoided.
The result is better and safer roads, easier choices in case of acute problems, wiser use of tax money and more satisfied residents.
